The more information that you are able to provide when selling your timepiece, the better. Any other documents that you are able to provide, such as sales receipts, warranty papers, and service records are also incredibly helpful as they provide a history of the watch and can help verify its authenticity. The original box and papers can be very valuable in their own right. Providing these items when selling your ensures you will receive the highest price.

We ship worldwide and only insured. We also provide tracking for most destinations.

Orders are normally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment. We aim to deliver your order within 1 to 4 business days, depending on the delivery location. If you have any other specific requests regarding shipping, feel free to contact us with your request. If a package is lost, a refund will be issued once the insurance claim is approved and paid.

Return Policy

You have the right to cancel your contract or return the products within 14 days of receiving the products, without any need to justify your decision. Your right to cancel starts from the moment when you or your nominated recipient received the order. The right to cancel does not apply to custom-made or customised goods.

You will need to pay the return postage. We recommend using a postal tracking and retaining proof of postage. We also suggest insuring the products for their full value. If we have to pay additional postage charges on your package, we may deduct the amount of such charges from any refund we send to you. Your parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Any products returned must be in their original condition, including paperwork, user manual, service papers and box as applicable. If they are not, we may be unable to accept them or make a deduction from the refund for loss in value.

In case of a return, you will receive the purchase price of the concerning goods; this does not include delivery costs for the initial shipment and the return shipment. Refunds occur within 14 days after we received the returned goods. This return policy only applies to online purchases and is only applicable for purchases within the EU.

Prices & Payment methods and Deposits

The prices advertised on our website are in euro and do not cover shipping and insurance fees. These will be added to the final price.

We offer 2 payment methods::

  • Wire transfer. As soon as we have received your payment on our account we will send your purchase
  • Cash (Only with private meeting)


There are several reasons that we can agree to pay a deposit/partial payment/down payment. In this case you pay a non-refundable part of a product and the product will be put on hold for a duration of 30 days from the day we received the payment. Within this month you have time to pay the remaining outstanding amount. Products can only be delivered in case of full payment.

Private appointments

Private appointments are available upon request. All watches are kept off site at a secure private location. For security reasons, we have video surveillance at our office 24 hours a day.

Import duties

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Service and Repair

A repair or general service will be performed by one of hour specialized watchmakers. The waiting time of a repair or service depends for example on the cause, availability of parts and workload. Testing is also an important part of a repair or service. You must take into account an indicative waiting time of 6 to 8 weeks.

Mechanical condition

A mechanical watch always has a small time deviation. All watches have been tested and in working order, though due to the nature of vintage watches we make no statement about mechanical accuracy or waterproofing. If known, the service history is specified explicitly. A general service may be required in the near future and is at buyers expense.


All watches are covered by the stated warranty period on our website in the description of the watch. With the purchase you will will receive a guarantee certificate or invoice with the details of the watch and the period of the warranty.

The stated warranty applies to manufacturing defects of the movement.

The following issues are not covered by our warranty:

  • Damage caused by falling/bumping of the watch, through the presence of dirt, damp, fire and water (including showering, swimming, or diving),
  • Damage on the winding stem, winding crown, spring, buttons and pushers and such, the strap/bracelet and lost, cracked, scratched or broken crystals.
  • Damage caused by wearer abuse or misuse, such as (but not limited to) knocks, dents, crushing, and scratching.
  • Watches that run slow or fast, because most mechanical ( and Quartz ) watches do not keep perfect, accurate time.

In these cases Watchplus is not accountable for the resulting damage to the watch itself, nor for the consequences of such damage, of whatever nature, to other matter or persons.

  • Warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original buyer.
  • Warranty does not cover wholesale/dealer orders.
  • Alterations and/or repairs, or custom work done without the prior written consent will render this warranty null and void.
  • With every claim the guarantee certificate or invoice must be presented. Without a valid guarantee certificate or invoice the repair can only be executed at your expense.

All watches are checked on authenticity, but watches are objects of daily use which are subject to wear and tear. It is therefore self-evident that watches require maintenance. A watch which was sent for revision still is an original, authentic watch, even if components have been exchanged. The elements affected by such exchange or replacement often are the protective glass, the watch-dial, besel or insert, bracelet, certain springs and wear parts in the mechanism, housing sealing, screws or sets of hands. Even for watchmaker it is often impossible to trace all repairs (e.g. each exchanged component and its originality or the use of an identical component from another manufacturer, such as screws) in a watch when appraising the watch movement. The exchange or replacement of elements does not impair the originality of the purchased object.


When you are interested in a watch, and you have requested/received information and pictures, or even if you are negotiating to buy the watch, it does not mean the watch is reserved for you. We only reserve a watch with prove of payment with, for example, a screenshot of the payment.

It is very common that multiple people are interested in a watch at the same time. Therefore, we have a lot of pending information requests and negotiations daily. So, we are unable to reserve watches for people who might buy a specific watch. Also there are a lot of ways to buy a watch. People can order from the website or other selling platform, people can visit the store, people can order by phone and so on. For this reason we handle reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you want to make an appointment to visit the store, on request we can reserve 1 day prior to the appointment, 1 watch for you. So when you make the effort to visit us, the watch will be available. Only when we explicitly confirm, a watch will be reserved.

High resolution pictures are an essential part or our descriptions, please examine the pictures carefully. Although we have made every effort to display the information and colours  accurately, the colours on your screen can be different than the original product.

If the products are sold without paperwork, it can be difficult for us to calculate  the age of the products, especially for vintage products. While we calculate the age in good faith, you acknowledge that the age of the products is an estimate only. We make no representation or warranty in relation to the accuracy of the age of the products.
